The order of the day today was calibration. Lots of circles inside squares.
I think I’ve improved the alignment of the x and y axis. Still seeing a little backlash on the x axis.
On the one hand I never really expected my scratch built machine to get great accuracy. However now I’ve come this far it’s hard to stop anything short of perfection. Or at least <0.5 mm.
Wondering whether I should change tack on the x axis completely…
