The two prints are printed on the same machine same gcode filament etc. The only difference is that after the left one I applied a liberal amount of singer sewing machine oil to the linear bearings.
Btw they are nano to micro sim converters give you and idea of size they are printed 0 infill but 2.4mm shell

How does lithium grease compare to other lubricants for linear bearings/rails/etc. ?
I tried to find some but had nothing but blank stares at the local hardware, i thought id try the machine oil. I have used silicon spray that works but seems to dry out after a few days. The machine oil is better from what ive seen. Quietest the bearing have been, I think maybe due to viscosity.
If you have a nearby auto parts store, that’s where to look for the grease.
