There are rolls of plastic used to laminate identification cards. It has a heat activated adhesive on one side. Has anyone used this for heat barriers for 3D printers? The glue makes it foggy, so you would want to fold it back on itself, glue side to glue side. We used the stuff for work. It seems stiff enough to not damage too easily. I have no idea how much the rolls cost or how big the rolls are, except that they have a foot or so width and probably enough lengths to make 20+ printers. It is of course not a structural component and should only be used as a hear barrier.
You thinking for enclosure panels?
@Ryan_Carlyle yes. On the cheap. I do not like the costs of acrylic or sheets of plastic from the local stores.
Should work, then.
