I have an UP Plus 2 (which I love) but have recommended the Printrbot Simple Metal to a few friends (at $599) looking for a low cost 3D printer. In its price range I think it is by far the best printer on the market. It is very well built and I have seen great results from it. This is their next generation printer and I have high hopes that this is going to be a terrific machine.
Ha, @John_McDonald sorry abt the confusion, that is the name. Metal is what it is made from, not what it makes, sorry.
