There was a feature request: “Allow to disconnect tablet when a SD card print has been started”. I just figured out that this already works fine on my printer.
Can someone confirm that this is working, then I can remove it from the feature list. (arduino must not depend on the USB power or a powered usb hub is needed) .
Reconnecting to a running SD card print is another request which needs some development…

The version I have works fine both when the tablet battery goes flat or the cable is disconnected, it continues to print.

How is this possible when the file being printed is dependant on getting the information microSD
