This confirms my suspicion about the newer aluminum hot ends. Most of the cooling fins are unnecessary since the first one or two do all the cooling that is needed.

I thought the same… But it was printing at 215 degrees and with this hotend you should go until 300-320 degrees. We would like to do more tests but we would need this camera more time…

It would also need to be tested at higher ambient temperatures. This would be important to know when operating an enclosed printer.
