These are the 3d printed enclosures for the 18650 batteries. The white pieces were individually printed and glued with fast glue, and the spring connectors (purchased from http://mouser.com) were glues with epoxy. The little grooves end up with a small hole where the (modified) paper clip hook enters. The external diameter of the pieces matches the internal diameter of the aluminum tube, keeping the paper clip in place, while the spring keeps the electrical contacts active.

@Michael_Burg I am ashamed for not posting mine yet, the ones that used rubber bands or o-rings to keep the ends attached
