Thing you realise on a second build of the same printer model - Your Z height on the original is actually more than you thought it was as you put a part the wrong way around. Yeah… I’m dumb. The FB2020 actually has a build volume of 200x200x170 not 200x200x155

facepalms

LOL.

I’d like to build one , are you releasing the Bom or better yet are you selling kits ?

@ThatNerdMike BOM is on Github - https://github.com/AxMod3DPrint/FB2020 - it’s on the Wiki for both versions. I’m looking at putting kits together currently. However, it’s probably going to be a Kickstarter/Indiegogo to raise funds.

Ok on my phone so I can’t look … What the price range to build ?

Parts-wise including Filament you’re looking in the region of £400, if you buy your extrusions direct from Misumi. I know in Europe they only deal business to business, so if you’re in the EU, you’re probably going to be spending a bit more. I put together a kit for around £400 for a friend, over the weekend with UK sourced parts and it was just under the £400 mark

@Ax_Smith-Laffin
Do you build them for someone or is it for yourself?

@Elf_Tablet - They’re done for my business, however, I’m looking to drop the non-3D printing part of the business and move totally into the printing side.

Fair enough.

However if I may be permitted to give a little unsolicited advice.

That kind of move may seem attractive atm considering the current state of the market, however give it 5 years and these things will be cheap as chip and very common, if not downright outdated. It may not be a good idea to put all of your eggs in one basket.

However I do not say this to deter you, and hope it is a business model that you are able to sustain. Good Luck. :slight_smile:
