Things that don’t make sense when ordering in bulk:

  • a reel of the 5050 black-top LEDs has 800 on it
  • LPD8806 ICs come in multiples of 250
  • anti-static bags come in a box of 100
  • anti-static stickers come on a roll of 500
  • desiccant packets come in a container of 600
  • humidity indicators come in a can of 125
    NOTHING MATCHES! shakes head

Or batteries coming in 7-packs and toys always needing 5 or 11…

Packaging products makes perfect sense to the bean counters. Their goal is to sell as many products as possible.

I have, several times. That list was just a collection of stuff that came up over time.
