Thinking about building my own 3d printer. Looking for open source info. Like the ideas I have read about from Cory Doctorow, Want to try glass/silicon/powder printing.
Just point the way and I will follow the $PATH

The open-source community has only just started looking at powder printing. It is much more complex than FDM and still very early in the prototype stage. If this is your first printer I really suggest you buy an FDM kit, put it together, calibrate, learn how it works and only then start a DIY project.
Can’t find one for under 500$ otherwise I would buy my first one then build a bigger better one
