Thinking about something simple to model in #Blender and 3Dprint quickly on reprap as a demo: any suggestion?

A piston would be quick and easy, you could demo much of the functionality as well.

I like the 3 letter intersections, like G-E-B http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f1/GEBcover.jpg …
plenty of variations, easy to model and in front of a lamp… a nice shadow play.

3 letter intersections seems like it would be an awesome openscad project.
