$29 for half a kg? Sorry eSUN no way. At least pen can also use PLA.

I think it’s probably worth it for children touching it and the pen, because of the much reduced temperature. It’s going to take a LOT of drawing to use half a kg.

Marketing a plastic as FDA approved is pretty annoying, I think it’s borderline irresponsible to not at least have a disclaimer on that.

Makerbot sells Polymorph filament for $130/kg. (Has for years as their “flexible” filament.) Esun’s price is a bargain in comparison.

Don’t forget, great thing about Polymorph / PCL filament is that scrapped prints are actually useful. You can remold scrap parts and botched pen drawings like play-doh to do other useful things. It’s actually a reusable product. And polymorph pellets run for about $30-40/kg, so getting dual use out of $58/kg filament really isn’t bad.
