This delta printer is getting shared around other websites from an indiegogo campaign, I recognise it from another company. Any ideas?

If you know the company it belongs to, contact them so they can have Indiegogo deal with it

I’m not sure who it was but I am 99% sure I’ve seen it elsewhere.

Well, the (badly) photoshopped on logo is definitely suspicious, but I can’t find an image like this anywhere and not seeing this one on Indiegogo either, so without knowing exactly where it’s from, there’s not a lot that can be done.

This is their indiegogo campaign, perhaps it is the sheer hilarity of the videos, but my senses are tingling that there’s something fishy about this.

Those pictures look like renders, and I think the 3d artist didn’t have the logo when he was asked to make the renders.

@Daniel_Joyce that’s one way of looking at it. There’s just no way on god’s green earth there’s enough information about the company on the IGG page for me to consider investing in it. The twitter and Facebook links don’t even link to a company.

@Daniel_Joyce I call BS on that explanation. No reasonable person wouldn’t just spend the 5min to re-render the models once a logo became available.

Anyway, while they’re certainly suspicious in several points, I can’t find any actual evidence that they’re not genuine either. They may just lack a professional appearance, but otherwise be fine.

Google image search doesn’t show anything. But that campaign, o my. Horrible site if you ever seen one.

Fishy doesn’t even comes close

“Shipment fees not inclusive. We will notice you at a later date.”

Plus the pain of multiple strange videos, no real information and absolute naivety regarding Hardware Developement

@Ad_Vitam_Aeternam aside from being a delta, it looks nothing like ZeGo, and ZeGo never got their funding from what I can tell

@Nils_Hitze the shipment one in particular to me is insane! Could they turn round and say “Shipping is $500”?

@Ad_Vitam_Aeternam yes, that’s the same image I posted. And if you look, the skeleton is built completely different

@Ad_Vitam_Aeternam dude, you’re blind as a bat. You just described every delta printer out there.

ZeGo’s rods are mounted completely different than PrintM3. The carriage is a different shape. The sliders on the rails have a completely different profile. Hell, on closer inspection, the ZeGo isn’t even using rods, it’s ONLY using rails. While the PrintM3 is ONLY using rods.

Look, PrintM3 is as suspicious as they come, but don’t make shit up to smear them further.

how print! So 3D! such funding! very design!

Just download your kossel, rostock or wolfstock parts, print them and share your improvements, or buy kits to open source hardware adventurers like Emmanuel Gilloz.

What’s amazing is that 21 people at the moment have contributed to their campaign.
