Do you have three strips around the stick there, or just two?
Just two. There is room for 3, but that ups the power requirements. This setup runs off a single 5v, 10A laptop style PS and even so, I had to adjust the brightness settings so as not to overdraw. If you added more power, one could add maybe 2 more strips.
Yeah, you’re using the 144/m strips. I ask because I’m doing due diligence on a similar arrangement that I want visible 360° around a shaft, and the 5050s nominal viewing angle is 120°, so…
