This is first piece I have ever designed from scratch and printed. I am tremendously pleased with myself. I don’t know yet if it’ll work, but I think it will. It’s a mechanical endstop mount for my cupcake. My endstops are simply mechanical switches.
Mechanical switches are a lot less crap to deal with anyways. Simple to wire, great accuracy and repeatability, cheap and easy to acquire… I don’t know why the hell people deal with optos and those stupid flags.
Are you uploading the design somewhere? I’d like to put mechanical endstops on mine as well.
Also looks like you are using my cupcake z-stage design. How is it working out for you?

Your cantilever design was the last piece of the puzzle of getting my printer to work. It’s a great design and I really can’t thank you enough for it.
