This is my 3d-printed Spitfire with a wingspan off 973mm.

This is my 3d-printed Spitfire with a wingspan off 973mm. Now we just need a motor and some electronics inside and bury it to the ground in five seconds!

Would you mind sharing the files?

Good job! Is the stl available ?

Ha! I used to be an R/C farmer… never could quite figure out how to get them to grow after planting them…

I bought the files at 3dlabprint: https://3dlabprint.com/index.php

How long has that taken to print?

@Peter_Wraxall I don’t remember, i printed it a long time ago but just glued it togheter today. Did some videos when printing the parts, sorry for Swedish tough. https://youtu.be/DXdUpJPhN-Y

@Alex_Wiebe R/C aircraft are only a cover crop to be plowed under the next year…

it came out great. What do you think about paint work?

@Edward_Solis I have some limited flying done with a parkzone Spitfire but that was a long time ago. I have to practice abit on a sim i guess.

@Badog_CNC_Switzerlan I think it deserv a nice paintwork but i suck at that so it will be very basic.

Really smart, looks good.

LMAO, “bury it in to the ground in five seconds!” Yup.

Can you share some more parts pics

@poorna_chandu I have four videos off every part i printed. Sorry for Swedish talking.

There´s nothing like the beauty of an elliptical wing and its aerodynamics efficiency

Congratulations, it looks like superb!

@Trhuster I’ve seen those videos. Nice. Really excited hearing about the flying experience.

I purchased the same plans But need to purchase the printing software in order to get it printed.

Well, Simplify3d is well worth it imo.
