This is what I bought my NinjaFlex for!
Also openscad now has text support for true type fonts and it works really well.

what version of scad has support for TTF?
@Camerin_hahn the text-module branch on github, you need to compile from source.
Nice, I have made a font using the old DXF write library and it is a pain. i am excited for the TTF support.
Could you get LEDs into one mid-print?
@Charlie_webb I (and many others) have considered inserting parts mid print. It’s usually captive nuts. It’d need to be done just before the cavity is covered so you don’t need to worry about the toolpath running through the thing. Could also make the printer pause there to avoid “aaah, make it stop” or missing the point where you insert the thing. I’m sure a short string of 2811 RGB LEDs, an attiny and a small lipo could fit inside one of these with a few changes, would probably be even less stretchy.
AWESOME
