This post is primarily for Mitch Bradley, but anyone who can help, I’d appreciate it. I upgraded my pc to a newer model to handle more things for my CNCs. As you suggested, I used the link for the post process on my planet-cnc controller to CAM things from my small CNC and it has worked great. However, when I tried to download the post again for my new computer, I haven’t been able to save the post as a cps file on my personal posts in Fusion. Every time I try to change the file from a .jpeg file to a .cps file I can’t seem to get it into the library. It seemed easier on my other computer. Any thoughts?
Is it possible you’re downloading an image file, thus the .jpeg extension? It would seem to me you can’t rename a .jpeg to a .cps. cps files are text and you should be able to open them into notepad to see the contents. Maybe try that to debug?
Is this possible that your system hides file extensions and you do not really change the extension, but only change file name?
@jlauer It actually is a text file and it looks correct. I was able to see the file in brackets. I can upload it as text here to show you. I just don’t know how to include it as a personal post on my fusion account on my new computer. Thanks again, John, for your assistance! I don’t know how you have the time or energy to follow & respond AND manage chilipeppr and all you do. You must be a multitasking superhero!
I think I got a fix. I found CPS on one of my other computers and uploaded it to my google drive account. Hopefully I can get it into my personal posts on the other computer.
