Couldn’t find any purchasing options but I doubt it’s cheap and I have 60 + rolls of filament. What we really need are resealable spools. I’d be willing to pay an extra $5 per spool for it.

Has anyone tried keeping filament in a ziplock in the freezer?
Maybe I’d finally get the chest freezer we apparently need for silly stuff like food.

@Michael_Johnson I can verify that they do not ship with resealable bags or at least not currently, I’ve been getting my basic materials from them exclusively for several months. I also have a hard time finding resealable bags large enough that stay sealed for long periods of time.

Ha. Always wanted to do a diy version oft this using a nano and a few sensors. Got inspired by the spannerhands design in thingiverse.

Zip lock bags for cleaning oven shelves plus catsan cat litter, (tied in an old sock!). These bags are quite thick and hold a couple of spools easy…works for me.

@Mike_Mayer that’s what I’m doing. 1 gallon ziplocks fit 1kg spools fine.

I usually put my filament in Ikea zip lock bags (4 and 6 liter). Works pretty well…

I put mine in vacuum sealed pouches, keeps them fresh as, using a food grade sealer. When a spool has been out for a few days I run it through my dehumidifier I have customed for filament.
