This started as a favor and became a little of a challenge, over all I’m quite pleased.
The favor was inspired by a similar designs for US light switches, aimed at compatibility with Standard UK Styles.
The challenge was the size of the prints, I’ve a small, portable CR-7 and a few of the parts really pushed the boundaries of what could be printed. Primarily the size, partly the time and keeping an eye on the real feeding but also realising the removal bed was needed better clipping down with larger prints shrinking back.
I’m expecting we’ll have a few more picture soon, having just delivered the part, work will start on finishing this to give wood effect base etc.
That’s in the hands of others but is based on some of the finishing techniques that have been seen in this group.
