This was just delivered. @colorFabb_Filament ’s Economy PLA (Silver) and Economy PETG. Have it printing now with my standard settings for both materials and on initial impression on how it prints I’m highly impressed. €35 for 2.2KGs of filament. Budget price but far from Budget filament. Wouldn’t expect anything less from ColorFabb though…

I previously provided a post which indicates there is no correlation between price of filament and print quality.

@Greg_Copeland - aye realise that, however, this is a premium branded filament at €19.32 per kilo, most of the filaments in that range are generic chinese filament. I find a lot of filaments at that price are OK and print well, but don’t stand out from the crowd. This does. I can’t fault it at all.

Is it still close to $40 in the US for 750g spools? Wonder how much 2.2Kg would cost here…

I get petg for 25 bucks per kg @denix through esun. Who do u order through the to get those ridiculous prices?

@kenneth_rooks is that esun petg or colorFabb petg? As colorFabb is considered premium quality filament. For regular filament I prefer Hatchbox though, which is also around $25 per kilo…

Just as an example of howmuch filament I can kill when busy, the PLA spool is almost out… 2.2KGS in less than 7 days.

@denix petg I use is esun thus far which I’m guessing most folks here would say is regular run of the mill filament filament. Nothing special. Tho I would never pay for , “premium” name brands. I just don’t see any benefit…tho I guess I’d have to order some to compare and contrast.

@denix I used to order crazy amounts of hatchbox and still do from time to time, I just prefer esun because it’s same price for way way better spooling in both winding and casing
