This week we are doing the first #bcn3dmoveo workshop, so the first five kits of our robot arm are growing up! 5 schools will have a robot arm at its facilities for learning about robotics!
As everything we do, this #3dprinted Robot Arm is an #opensource project, so we will release all the files, manuals, bill of materials and the other documentation soon! Everyone will be able to build an amazing robot arm at home!
cool
what is the cpu in it ?
where will you share it ?
When is “Soon”? You said “soon” like…2 months ago I think?
Hi!
The robot arm is controlled by an arduino mega 2560.
Launching a product is not easy, and we want to do it right. Now we are doing the connections manual, among other things
Soon is when we have all the files and manuals done and well organized. We hope before the 30 of July ;)!
Hi Ross,
We design an manufacture 3D printers and laser cutting machines.
We have done a robot arm but is not our main goal, we just wanted to do something cool 3D printed. We decided,as always, make it opensource!
Funny how all the robot hands is FLIPPING YOU OFF!
@BCN3D_Technologies It’s nice to see divergence from your product line coming from you. Looking forward to much more!
Very impressed with the idea, and that you are open sourcing it. No doubt the community will tweak the living daylights out of it!
