Those of you who were excited for the new Cura,

Those of you who were excited for the new Cura, but extremely let down that the release was incredibly buggy and had to revert to the old versions; I found what looks to be a weekly-ish build directory. The github account is listed as 15.10, so my guess is they plan on releasing a new public beta soon, but for those of you who want to see what’s been fixed – here ya go. The 15.09.90 looks to be the latest build.

You’ll be popular for sharing a URI named like that. :grinning:

Honestly, I’m just trying to get wire printing working on a 1.75mm filament machine. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the link! I am looking forward to a lot of new features that existed in 15.04 but disappeared in 15.06.

Oh, no problem in sharing that link. The link has been a public secret for years

Good luck on the latest betas. We know it has been a rough ride. The 15.09.90 still has some rough edges, but should be much better then the 15.06
We totally underestimated how much work it was to get up to the stability of the old code base, and how much stuff is in the old code.

If you come across issues, feel free to report them at: https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues

There are a few small things that are still missing from this version. Dual extrusion being the major one, other then that are things like loading images as height maps (will be included), and a few other small features.
We have a list of what is missing, and bringing those features back for the next release. Except for 1, the X-Ray view will be delayed till the release after that, due to the complexity of that view mode.

@Daid_Braam , any hints as to getting machine profiles set up? Has that changed? And is Delta support (0,0 at center) available in this build?

0,0 machine center is an option in the file on version 15.06. I have successfully printed on my delta. I do like the circular top and bottom fill patterns instead of the cross hatching. That part worked very well. I also drew my printer in sketchup and used that stl file instead of the standard ultimaker platform. The only weird part for deltas is the square build plate. I can’t make it circular yet.
