Thoughts on the ft-5? Built an i3 (been almost 3 years since built it) and sold to a friend. Wanting to start again.

Care to post what an FT-5 is? Never heard of it.

Folgertech FT-5? Looks like an okay piece of kit. It’ll be a little more involved than the i3, but well worth having a good build volume like that.

Yea. Huge build volume.

I got the folgertech delta and are really happy with it and the company. My kit lacked a stepper but got a new/replacement directly when i contacted their support.

A lot of FT-5 owner have their PSU blown after a while, maybe buy some quality PSU and keep the kit one for other project.

I like the FT-5 because it is a z-moving bed only- the moving Y+Z bed removes a lot of potential print area.
