Tire question - still looking for tires for the openrc build. Anybody try any 2.2" diameter tires for the openrc rims included in the latest build? I believe these are going to be small so if there is any suggestions it would be appreciated.
Did you consider printing them yourself? Rubber filaments are by far not that expensive anymore as they were a couple of years ago. As long you don’t use 1.75 bowden they are easily printed too.
Unfortunately I have a bowden setup on 1.75mm so that’s not an option
You may also consider, printing a hull with abs or pla, fill it with silicon and destroy the hull afterwards (abs dissolves in acetone, pla unwraps easily @ 80-90°C). A very simple bottle of silicone costs about 3€ or something like this and should suffice for 2-3 wheels. If done nicely (with spaces) for sure, for all wheels.
