Today I finished the design of my "spider" end effector.

Today I finished the design of my “spider” end effector. Maybe It’s a little overdone but I want a lot features and a lot of cooling. I hate it when my PLA starts curling. I’ll probably will make a more compact design next time but I first need to find the right fans for the job. I will post some pictures of the printed parts once they are finished

Looking great, take a look at some of the NoiseBlocker fans, they make some great fans that move allot of air and have low noise

@Amit_Patel thanks for the advice, I will definitely look into them.

rad!

I use separate quiet PC 120mm area fan instead of multi small fans on moving head. It works well with PLA.

If You plan to use E3Dv6 all metal hot end for this effector attach at least 40mm fan to the radiator and create as much as possible space between the hotend and mounting plate in order to streamline air circulation. I reccomend also to use blower instead of regular fan for cooling 3d prints. Design used in Atom 2.0 3d printer is in my opinion one of the best for deltas.
