Tonight (& tomorrow night)'s costume… I’m go-go dancing at a casino for Memorial day so they requested red, white & blue. The glowfur vest is running FastLED with @Mark_Kriegsman 's awesome fire code, in “fire & ice” mode. Tiara, necklace, wristbands are all simple code I did (mostly) myself using Adafruit Neopixel library, and the pants are based on Adafruit’s sparkle skirt tutorial, with an accelerometer so they sparkle when I move (!!!). Altogether I’m wearing 4 gemmas and 2 floras.
Are those the the Quantum X-Treme from TC, I own the Fan and hoop in that series, fun little toy, but i am working to make more option on a pair of fans.
I’m actually not sure which model they are. I got them from TC’s original kick starter project a few years ago so I assume they are v1.0. I have the hoop and long staff too. Brightest and sturdiest light toys I have ever used (and I have gone through a lot) except one of the led strands on the staff never worked. Gotta get in there and mess with it someday.
Nice, I was on the Original Kickstarter too. One of my fan had the LED burnt out, and I took it to Jaz at TC, since their shop was located 15-20 minutes north of me. For some reason he does quick repair work when it is simple. You should have sent it back to them to Warranty. He use a standard RGB 12V Dummy LED. so you just got to get a strip of those and resolder the connection, re run the entire strip.
