I just published the first beta version of GCodeTouch3D. Paint something with your fingers and print is live on your 3D printer paint the first layer and let the App extrude the additional layers.
It will be available in Google Play Store in a few hours.
Google does not allow to change free Apps to paid lateron, or to give beta versions for free Therefore the App is not free but I have choosen the smallest allowed amount (0.50€).
If you are interested anyhow: First Opt-in for beta herehttps://play.google.com/apps/testing/de.dietzm.gcodetouch3d Second: install the App from Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.dietzm.gcodetouch3d
@Daid_Braam yes, but doodle3d has a separate 80$ hardware box which runs a Webserver. #GcodeTouch3D App just needs an Android device and a usb otg cable. Another difference is that GCodeTouch3D is printing live while you are drawing.
First Doodle3D code is from 2 years ago: https://github.com/Doodle3D/Doodle3D
Back then they where still an MacOS app. They later switched to browser based to better support more devices.
And it wouldn’t be unheard of for 2 people to have the same idea at the same time
Printing while drawing is pretty cool
