No antistatic bag? No problem!

Aluminium foil and packing tape.

Polythene bags are static generators. but McGuyverish you are, Padawan

What ever happened with your printrbot build? Only see pieces from a couple years ago, no? It’s even the background image, is it also like this in present state?

@Giligain_I Wait, why is my 3d printer being mentioned here? Honest, I haven’t wrapped a single part of it in aluminum foil. However, I did design and build a new Y carriage and belt tensioning system for it out of aluminum. And added an aluminum stiffening bar across the top of the X carriage. It was working nicely before, but it’s super solid now. (Also, I just added more pics to that album and another album with a few other pics if you want to see a bit more.)

Oh, was just browsing your profile in noticed this post https://plus.google.com/+MarcMillerTime/posts/eCcdcuQuYRC from 2 years ago and didn’t see anything more.
I see the background has been updated.

@Mike_Thornbury Packing tape won’t generate static?

If you do it right and get the correct type, and it’s not too pricy either.
