Is that a good idea? If the end-stop is hit with significant force it could shear the pins. This would not happen with M2 screws.
Nah the pins are only for alignment. Its held down by the whole part 
Oh and also it doesnt hit the endstop from the front it slides on the side

That’s very nice. I think you’ll be fine. One thing that made me uncomfortable with RepRap designs is how the usual plan used to be to just drill out the holes on switches rather than specify switches that had the preferred size holes in the first place.
@Nathan_Walkner It’s not about speed but force. If something is driven hard against only pins like that for long enough something’s going to give.
