Two more time lapses of work to level the bed of my CNC and beginning of some work to cut slots to allow me to bolt/clamp pieces to it.
Fairly boring videos, I’m just happy that it ran smoothly, nothing went wrong. Nice consistent movement.
The bed required a little hand sanding since the 25mm wide bit I was using was obviously not totally level to the plane of movement. It left very slight ridges between passes.
Sadly it does look like the z axis coupler has now broken. Finally admitted defeat and ordered a set of 3 proper metal couplers. Hopefully they won’t take too long to arrive.
