Was it part of the filament? Are you replacing the nozzle?
You can see some of the blue filament but there was also this black tar like feeling substance, probably buildup of something over the months.
Replaced it with another Jhead for now as I am about to order the E3D later today.
Well there’s your problem! You’ve got a drill bit in there!
Also, check out Whosawhatsis’ blog post (or maybe G+ post) on cleaning out hot ends with Nylon. It’s a really awesome way to clean even the really dirty ones.

Nah, I think just stupidity. Lol, I’m known for pre-heating my machines and totally forgetting about them. Too many projects going on at the same time. That and friends are always distracting me with “build me this, make me that. Can you make this.” _
