Still to expensive. That’s Makerbot Niveau
Heated bed?
Retracted my earlier comment because I was comparing Euros to USD. Difference in USD between the 2+ and the 3 is $1k. I’d say it’s a bit overpriced. As a comparison, to upgrade Lulzbot machines cost half that to upgrade to dual extrusion but this difference between the 2+ and 3 adds much more features and the extrusion system is much better. I’d still say the price increase is a bit too steep though
@Stephanie_A yes of course heated bed, glass bed. No info on max temp or heat times though.
@Adam_Steinmark bed has the same specs as the UM2+ (~100C max), the hotends go up to 350C and if I remember right heat up to 200C in a minute.
@Daid_Braam Max hotend temp is 280 C, old temp was 260 C
@Adam_Steinmark The one on my desk goes up to 350C. I see that I’m causing confusion here. The officially supported max temperature is 280C. The max temperature at which the hotends can go is 350C. However, this could, potentially cause some problems. I think the silicone nozzle cover cannot handle these temperatures. As I know the hotends where tested up to these temperatures just fine.
(FYI, I’m on the Ultimaker R&D team. I made the firmware for the Ultimaker 3)
@Daid_Braam Ah okay. Thanks for the info.
