Update: I printed the top a second time with the improvements I made the previous night: adjusted the lip and increased the snap-fit tab so it mated better with the snap-fit hole. Things fit together MUCH better but I then found a couple more things I needed to adjust slightly for a better fit overall:

  • Top: decreased the depth of the embossed text and graphic by 0.5mm so I get 3 layers of bridging over it instead of two (gives a nicer look), removed a slight amount of the lip from the back near the hinges for a smoother fit, increased the LCD mounting hole diameter from 3mm to 3.6mm, and slightly adjusted the LCD mounting hole spacing as it was off by ~0.5mm i9n both X and Y (it didn’t help that the holes on the LCD weren’t drilled appropriately either; the one board had the hole spacing @ 64mm and the mating bottom one had holes drilled at 65mm, which caused the mounting screws to skew!)

  • Bottom: increased the height of the standoffs by 1mm, adjusted one of the standoff holes by 1mm so it mated better with the circuit board holes, and tapered the standoff screw holes so screws will bite better into the plastic when mounting the electronics.

I’ll reprint both again over the next night or two… :stuck_out_tongue:

@Shane_Graber Excellent print, Shane. As a note, we are looking for some of these types of enclosures, but printed in t-glase clear and t-glase Black. These are for an update to our photo pages as we are dividing it up into a few sections this summer. Utility, artistic, medical, etc… Please contact me if you are interested.
