3000mAh that’s pretty good, it will run for a few hours on that before it sends the low battery notification to the Odroid and you shut down.

Oh sorry I didn’t mean to post this to 3D printing… Stupid G+ remembering my last post location! I guess its interesting though as people are resharing? Maybe for Octoprint?

There would be one good reason to use this actually. I’ve had issues with noise on my 5V rails (due to poor quality 5v supply) causing my Octoprint (currently running on a Pi) to crash. This should resolve that.

@Daniel_Bull - It’s actually a good idea, but you’d need to be running a UPS for your priinter(s) as well, at that point , you may as well just run the Pi from the UPS.

@Ax_Smith-Laffin ​ yeah I did say I posted it here by accident :wink: To be fair the problems I’ve had with my 5v rail, crashed the Pi but not the printer or the Meltzi so it would have worked for me. In the end I just added a big cap on the Pi’s 5v rail.
