Using Chilipeppr/nodemcu, disconnect USB and SPJS is fine for a while. Then I hear my drive working like crazy, go into task manager and see this. Close SPJS and it stops. Start SPJS again and it’s fine. Cannot find a repeatable case, yet. Something in SPJS is sucking up a LOT of computing doing, something…

Can you run SPJS in verbose mode -v on startup and see if it starts spitting a bunch of stuff out when it’s looping?

Forgot about -v, will try to catch it when it happens next time.

Caught it again with -v on. I flashed a new firmware and tried to connect to it and the hard drive started going.

What firmware are you using? I just posted a bunch of new builds in the workspace that I know work.

Custom build I just made that includes the end user setup module I wanted to get working.

Can you try the new 1.93 version posted yesterday. It may solve that CPU issue. https://github.com/chilipeppr/serial-port-json-server/releases

I’ll try it, I saw you did that but have not had a chance to update yet and I have not had it do that since I caught it last time. I am busy with a few other things but will get back to it.
