Vase design No.3. The filament half way up started to thin out making the top quite weak and brittle. Over all I’m happy with how the design came out, no support structure was needed which appears to be a running theme recently. Any thoughts and comments welcome!
Unrelated… How do I get Cura to show the save button again instead of the print button? It got switched after the latest update and it’s annoying me because I print with OctoPrint, not USB. Nice print… Did you design it?
@Andy_Castille Simple, just unplugs it, the button will change automatically to save button.
@Peter_Novotny It isn’t plugged in.
@Andy_Castille It’s detecting something plugged in. Else it wouldn’t show a print button.
(And for the UM2 it normally never shows the USB printing option)
It’s the Printrbot Simple Metal… And nothing but AUTO is listed under port in machine settings.
Nevermind, got it figured out. serial_port in preferences.ini was set to a nonexistent port, not AUTO, while it did say AUTO in the machine settings dialog.
