Venus of Willendorf: I really enjoy printing this statuette. 3D printing an object made more than 20.000 years ago is really mindblowing. Here it is a 20% size for the “print something tiny” competition. Filament Faberdashery Bling Bling Gold. #tinycontest

That is cool. I now know what my next print will be. Is this the http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:17601?

That’s the one. Will probably look great with the translucent orange

I had the green on the printer. Hard to take a good picture. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-OW_9iN0wQhw/URgbXVxOEzI/AAAAAAAAQmU/uN8dnczjQd4/s1456/IMAG0681.jpg

The one on the right came out really well. Nice color too. Think I must order some translucent filament.

I removed the “infill in direction of bridge” from Skeinforge on that one. I guess this filament looks best with total solid infill or no infill at all.

Turns out I actually have some orange filament that are supposed to be translucent. It have never turned out like that. What temp. are you using to actually get a translucent result?

175C.

Nice, the Venus of Willendorf was my first print ever… in gold.
