WOW. I will see if there is something like this in Skeinforge. I never used this function but it is very interesting. I will do some tests.
@Roberto_Coli - SkeinForge support is peelable. The trick is to dial down the flow rate just enough so that the support extrusions barely touch the layers below and above. When done right, the raft and interface and the support come off like velcro. No knife needed.

I would still like to see more work on this aspect of slicing because as this guy demonstrates we are still not close to what the Up! 3D software is capable of.
