Does not inspire confidence. =D

So what’s the difference in a touring car, and a truggy?

@ThantiK Ha, ha, better me than you right?

Love it, fantastic “first shot”
And your project give me some idea to create my own RC but first… finnishing yours

@ThantiK The size of the wheels…
Car has much shorter stance, suspension travel, etc. All the arms are smaller. The cars are tuned much more tightly then the truggys are.

Think of the differences between a full sized baja truck and a sports car.

The touring cars are pretty amazing. They can be tuned to do a 4 wheel drift around corners or dialed in so they don’t skid at all on hard corners. It’s pretty cool to hear an RC car ‘squeal’ it’s tires on a corner on low-pile carpet.

I’ve been sketching ideas for a touring car of my own. My main difference is that I want to make the chassis an open topped monocoque, in 2 parts, much like the Tamiya M-03 I’ve been trying my printed wheels on.

Why not print the belts aswell? https://www.youmagine.com/designs/83t-gt2-timing-belt-used-on-makerbot-replicator
