Wally is moving! Stringing blue coated spectra was tough. Luckily, I had two hemostats and a magnifying visor. Not only are I you threading a needle (guitar peg) but you have to keep the lines under tension or they fall off the big pulley. Next time I’d use several pieces of tape to hold the lines on the big pulley.

Now I need to do some soldering to get the thermistor and extruder heater wired up. Delayed due to lack of plumbers TFE tape which is how the thermistor is held in its little cave on AnUbis hot end.

This is the worse best idea ever. Or is that best worst idea ever?

Edit: I had an entirely wrong idea of what this machine was when I wrote that. My bad.

I love all the colors. Maybe next time every part can be a different color. The new arm looks like it will work great.

I went with a different color for each revision / reprint. Next color up will be orange. May have to reprint an xy-pulley eventually as the 3mm x 10 set screw has striped its hole. Maybe I’ll stick a little extruder filament in the hole first, like sticking a wooden match in a striped hole.
