Was beginning to think an Arduino Nano could not handle all this, but I had some great help from /dev on the Arduino forums. Right now I am running 2 simultaneous strips of 30 leds, but will add a 3rd strip. Switching from an I2C OLDE to an SPI OLED display seemed to help. I know, I know…I could easily run this on one of my ESP8266 or pick up a Teensy but I learned a lot about coding efficiently cramming it into the Nano

Yeah the Nano is an awesome little thing! My limit is around the 200-240pix per nano, after that no matter how much I cram i cant get it into 2k
