Was there something wrong with the rectilinear surface infill in Slic3r 1.01? It was filling in fine on concentric fill, but when switched to rectilinear fill, there was a gap. The lines were only as thick as the gaps.
Sadly, that is the latest version available to me in Fedora 20. I can’t seem to compile it myself.
+Peter van der Walt Hmmm…thanks for the feedback. Now if only they compiled the Fedora RPM for more than alpha and beta. WTF is with that???
Whoah. Perl compilation is different.
I found a copy that I had that was a bit old, so I did a git pull and the http://slic3r.pl would not work, so I did perl Build.PL and now it is compiling.
Lovely. I can’t run Slic3r with Perl 5.18.2. I can’t have higher than Perl 5.16 if I want to run it.
@NathanielStenzel Just download the Linux tarball and extract somewhere convenient. You can then run the slic3r executable from the extracted folder. No Perl required.
