Watching all the machines here coming together, and the fact that the temps have finally cooled here makes me want to get back to putting mine together. Almost done setting up shop in the old house trailer that was going to waste. The only parts I need is one more nema 23 and the aluminum plate. Time to finalize the design here I guess…

@Michael_Jacobsen That is true at times. But it’s mostly that I have a 3 screen system here, and that’s my doodling while watching TV on one of the side screens. Plus it’s a few months old at this point… The second pic is a couple years old. I just keep adding to it as I use it to figure out the best place for different things. I change or build something (shelves) in sketchup first, then do it in real life. Most of the different items are from the 3d warehouse, so I didn’t have to draw them.
I have actually built my whole house and property in sketchup too. With all underground pipes and utilities all precisely measured out for later reference. It’s a great way to plan or think about future upgrades. Plus it documents where everything is…
