Water absorption can be a problem when printing with nylon, but fear not: there are some easy steps you may take to completely reverse water damaged filament.

“Drying nylon materials before using them for printing will remove almost all of the water molecules. You may use a blow dryer for this, or some desiccant packets.”
That’s all the advice they have? For me that simply wasn’t sufficient in any way. Ultimately i had to dry the spools in an oven for a couple of hours before printing. Especially the blowdryer is a no go, you would need hours and it is inefficient.
