We have an air vent that comes out directly under the kitchen sink. You can’t close it. If you are barefoot in the kitchen by the sink, it freezes your toes with the AC. I designed a simple redirect vent that snaps on. It works well!
It’s fun fixing little annoyances around the home! I have designed and printed switch guards, door stops, lamp switch grips, weather station parts, etc. I’m a full time hammer just looking for nails! (or at least I’m pretty sure that’s what my wife thinks - LOL!)
@Alex_Wiebe that’s awesome! Do you post any of your designs? I’d love to see some of them.
I have some at thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/ehud42/about). Lots of things I don’t bother because they are such unique one offs.

Also some stuff on Tinkercad and Onshape.
Big printer or small vent?
@Chevrolet_Diesel_Nat my printer has a 10” x 10” x 10” print area. I can print something about 14” long if I print corner to corner. It’s a Reliabuild3D RB2. If your interested in the specs, they have even more amazing features out on http://www.reliabuild3D.com. http://www.reliabuild3D.com
I love it. Smart idea!
