We have designed 120x120mm Core Xy 3d printer. For X and Y we used IGUS linear guides. Model - TS-04-12 (https://www.igus.in/product/?artnr=TS-04-12).

Quality was good. But, I am facing some issues. When it is printing, X axis hot end is moving in a Zig Zag way.

Please find the following video:

Especially from 20th second, you can see that.

I have checked the belt tightness, Linear guide tightness - all are proper.

Can’t see anything bad happening in the video, but at a glance, my guess is that you have too much moment load on the rail from the extruder being overhung too far off the center of the rail. Sliding bearings can bind up if you wrench on them with a long moment arm like that.

@Ryan_Carlyle ok. I am not exactly getting your point. Can you please give with any example

I think what @Ryan_Carlyle means is the hotend hangs out over the side of the block/truck and acts as a cantilever which causes the bearings inside the block to bind up.
Really neat design btw. Putting bearings on either side of the X-axis “plate”. Easy to assemble, easy to manufacture.

ok. Fine, I will redesign the hot end mount. It seems the weight is more on the hot end side. Thanks for the support
