We Just finished designing this surgical model and thought it maybe of interest. The model includes all the internal sinus cavities including the Ethmoid sinus, Sphenoid sinus, Frontal sinus and the Maxillary sinus.
The Cad model will now be split into six printable slices, relocation nodes will be added to each slice to enable accurate reassembly once the support resin has been removed, once reassembled the model will have all of the empty sinus cavities intact and an entry point through the Nasal cavity. We will post a picture of the finish part when the printing is complete.
