We printed out a massive (in comparison to the printer size) rocket on the Delta Go

We printed out a massive (in comparison to the printer size) rocket on the Delta Go 3D printer. Printed at 0.15mm layer height in four pieces and snap fitted together. Came out beautifully! Measures about 1.5 feet tall. No cooling fan, using our new Mini Hotend.

Nice job.

How long did it take to print that?

@Folke_Schwinning About 4 hours. 1 hour each part.

Gotta love a Delta.

Now do it again with room to mount a model rocket motor and a chute and go fly it. I did that with a rocket model NASA posted and flew it (under powered, but that’s my mistake). It got 50 ft up before it tried to come back and popped the chute. If only I had used a B or C instead of an A motor.

That’s very nice! How well does the led ring illuminate the print?
