I’ve been doing some research regarding my requirement for a bunch of controller boards for 3D printers in the near future. I’ve used a Smoothieboard before a couple of years ago for a CNC machine, so of course I came to smoothieware.org to see if I could find what I needed.
Unfortunately there seems to be many areas of the website that are faulty, and this really worries me.
Is this project dead? Is there still active development going on? Is anyone maintaining everything?
I know I can still buy the boards easily enough, but I don’t want to spend a couple of thousand US dollars if the project is on the download slope to oblivion.
I hope I’m wrong. I do love the Smoothieboards.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
